Our April meeting at Signatures was a success thanks to Bob Hahn's telephone committee. We had 40 people enjoy the evening. Dr. Skorin from the Albert Lea Eye Clinic was our guest speaker. He gave a talk and showed slides of his experience in Ukraine and of the differences in medical practice there compared to here. and how antiquated the practice is there. We should be very thankful we live in these great United States. I received a report from our Divan stating the Circus was a big success with 2,000 more visitors this year, thanks to the new advertising they did. Hospital Visitation Day is May 16, this would be a great opportunity for every one to see how the Hospital works and to meet all the support people. Our Albert Lea Shrine Club's Spring Picnic is May 21 at Rudy and Arlene Nelsons' farm, Please give me a call so we have a accurate head count 377-2123. Reminder -- the All Shrine Event in St. Cloud -June 6-7- and 8. The Spring Ceremonial and the Potentates Gala will be on June 7th. Our Illustrious Sir Roger Robinson is requesting as many Osman Shriners to attend as are able. Shrine Pancake Breakfast will be in the Fairlane building at the Fairgrounds on July 5th .From 8:00am to 1:00pm. The Osman Picnic will be on Sunday, July 13 at Como Park in St. Paul. The Midwest Shrine Session is in Aberdeen, South Dakota, August 7th , 8th and 9th. Orvin Drangstveit

On January 23rd, four Albert Lea Shriners made a Pilgrimage to the Shrine Hospital in Minneapolis. With them they brought a donation from the Albert Lea Shrine Club for $500.00.
